When testing the product isn't simple, consider testing the source.

Example tools: Grep, Lint, Spellcheckers


Use a standard commenting format to denote false positives. This format should include a *date*, for those cases where something may become a true positive if the context around it changes. A separate test finds those dates which are old enough to suggest that the context should again be reviewed.
