Led the WhirlwindComputer project at MIT, invented magnetic core memory, and was a mentor of KenOlsen. Then went on to develop SystemDynamics, and a computer language to go with it. KentBeck uses some SystemDynamics-inspired feedback-loop diagrams in his XP books.
