Insular Celtic was a branch of the CelticLanguage spoken on the islands of GreatBritain and Ireland. It became divided into two groups:
- P-Celtic, also known as Brythonic, which became WelshLanguage, BretonLanguage and CornishLanguage, and
- Q-Celtic, also called Goidelic, which became IrishLanguage, ScotsGaelic and ManxGaelic.
