Pic and Ideal are two (batch) drawing programs that work with Unix formatting tools. The guy who wrote Ideal (in FortranLanguage) started a talk with the statement: "First you've got to believe complex numbers are your friends."
So, the guy knew ComplexNumbersArePoints, just like DaveDodson told me years before.
