Hilarious (though somewhat PoliticallyIncorrect) film satirizing American life in the 1950s. Story concerns an 8-year-old boy named Ralphie growing up in 1950's Iowa, who wants a Red Ryder BB-gun for Christmas; and his various schemes to get his parents (or Santa Claus) to provide him with one, despite the oft-repeated objection that YoullShootYourEyeOut.
Often played on TV around Christmastime.
